Youth & Family

A space we’re hoping to build — together.

Calling All Young People and Families: Come Shape the Future of Holyrood Estate

Holyrood Estate has always been more than a collection of buildings — it’s a community with history, heart, and huge potential. As we build new events, activities, and resident‑led projects, we want to make sure the voices of young people and families are right at the centre of it all.

This is your home. Your streets. Your green spaces. Your community.
And your ideas matter.

🎉 Why We Need You

Young people bring energy, creativity, and fresh perspectives. Families bring connection, warmth, and a sense of belonging. When these voices come together, something powerful happens: the estate becomes a place where everyone feels welcome, supported, and proud to live.

Whether it’s fun days, creative workshops, youth projects, sports sessions, community gardening, or seasonal celebrations — these events only thrive when the people who live here help shape them.

🌱 What You Can Get Involved In

We’re building a calendar of activities designed with residents, not just for them. Here are just a few ways you can take part:

  • Join in at upcoming events — from family fun days to creative sessions.
  • Share your ideas — what would you love to see on the estate?
  • Volunteer a little time — helping set up, run activities, or spread the word.
  • Bring your skills — music, art, sports, gaming, cooking, storytelling… everything is welcome.
  • Help shape youth‑focused projects — we want young people leading the way.

No experience needed. No long‑term commitment. Just enthusiasm and a willingness to help build something positive.

🧡 A Community That Belongs to Everyone

Holyrood is full of talented young people, busy families, and neighbours who care. By getting involved, you’re not only helping to create great events — you’re helping to build a stronger, more connected estate where everyone feels seen and valued.

Even small contributions make a big difference.
Even one idea can spark something brilliant.

📣 Want to Get Involved?

We’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re a parent, a teenager, a young adult, or a family looking for something fun to do together, there’s a place for you here.

Let’s build events that reflect the real spirit of Holyrood — creative, welcoming, and full of life.

Come be part of it. Come shape it. Come make it yours.
