🗣️ Share Your Experience of Living on Holyrood Estate
Holyrood is a strong, diverse, and resilient community — but many residents tell us they often feel unheard when it comes to repairs, heating, safety, and day‑to‑day issues on the estate. HEART was created to change that, and one of the most important steps is understanding what you have experienced.
This page is a space for residents to speak openly about life on Holyrood: the good, the bad, and everything in between. Whether you’ve lived here for six months or sixty years, your voice matters.
🌟 What kind of experiences are we looking to hear about?
Residents have already raised a wide range of issues, and we want to build a clearer picture of what’s happening across the estate. You might want to share:
- Repairs that took too long or were never completed
- Heating or hot‑water problems
- Issues with damp, leaks, or the condition of the building
- Anti‑social behaviour or safety concerns
- Positive experiences with staff or contractors
- Ideas for improving the estate
- Stories about community, neighbours, and support
Every experience helps us understand the bigger picture.
📣 Why your voice matters
When residents speak individually, it’s easy for concerns to be dismissed or lost in the system. But when we gather experiences together, patterns emerge — and those patterns give us the evidence we need to:
- challenge unreasonable decisions
- push for repairs and improvements
- hold the council accountable
- highlight what’s working well
- build a stronger, more connected community
Your story could help someone else who feels alone in their struggle.
🛡️ Your privacy is respected
You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
You can remain anonymous if you prefer.
Nothing will be published without your permission.
Our goal is to listen, understand, and support — never to expose or pressure anyone.
📬 How to share your experience
You can send your story through our contact form, email us directly, or speak to a HEART volunteer in person. We’ll read every message carefully and treat it with respect.
Together, we can build a clearer picture of life on Holyrood and work towards the fair, safe, and well‑maintained estate our community deserves.
