The HEART committee is a small group of residents who help guide the direction of our new association. Their role is to listen to the community, organise meetings, support volunteers, and make sure the group stays open, fair, and focused on what matters to Holyrood. The committee doesn’t replace council services or speak over residents — it simply helps coordinate our efforts, raise concerns collectively, and keep things running smoothly.
As a brand‑new group, our committee is just beginning to take shape. We’re starting with a small number of residents who care deeply about Holyrood and want to help build something positive from the ground up. Over time, we hope to grow into a diverse team that reflects the whole estate — tenants, leaseholders, families, younger adults, long‑term residents, and everyone in between.
If you’re interested in being part of the committee, we’d love to hear from you.
We aim to keep decision‑making simple, transparent, and community‑led. The committee meets regularly to discuss issues raised by residents, plan events, and agree on next steps. Decisions are made by majority vote, but always with the wider community in mind. We share updates openly so residents know what’s happening and how choices are made. Anyone can raise ideas, concerns, or suggestions — the committee is here to listen and act on behalf of the estate.
If you’re over 18, live on Holyrood Estate, and want to help shape the future of our community, you’re welcome to put your name forward. You don’t need experience — just reliability, kindness, and a willingness to get involved. Committee members can help with planning, organising, listening to residents, or simply offering steady support as the group grows.
You can join by getting in touch through our contact page, speaking to a current committee member, or coming along to one of our meetings. New voices are always welcome, and we’d love to have you involved as we build HEART together.
